Secretary Bienvenido E. Laguesma of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Beyond Innovations, Inc. President Hans Kenneth Tan and Pascal Resources Energy, Inc. President Siu Ping Par for the nationwide implementation of JobStart Philippines (JSP) and the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES). The ceremonial signing event was held on 07 August 2023 at the DOLE Central Office in Intramuros, Manila.

Pascal Resources Energy, Inc., an energy-generation company which aims to promote clean cooking among users of traditional fuel, is partnering with the Department for the implementation of JSP. Beyond Innovations, Inc., on the other hand, which is one of the leading audio-video and smart technology systems solutions providers in the country, seeks to implement both JSP and SPES through this partnership.

Prior to the signing proper, Beyond Innovations President Tan shared his sentiments in partnering with the DOLE for two of its youth employability programs. “We believe in harnessing the talents of our youth. Further, we hope that through this partnership, we may access the pool of young individuals to contribute to the skillset they possess.” Subsequently, President Par of Pascal Resources Energy shared their company’s advocacy in promoting health, environment, and economy through the new generation of Filipinos.

With the DOLE seal bearing witness to the beginning of these partnerships, Secretary Laguesma expressed his gratitude to the two new youth employability partner employers for their willingness to contribute to the shared mission of economic development by improving the employability of young Filipinos and shortening their job search period through the JobStart Philippines Program and assisting poor but deserving youth through short-term job opportunities during school breaks through the Special Program for Employment of Students.
